Troubadour Obscura is a Belgian Dark Strong Ale that is refermented in the bottle. A creamy tan coloured head lay atop the beer’s ruby/brown body. It has a sweet malt character with a nice roasted flavour that hints at bitterness in the finish. Troubadour Obscura has a mild bitterness, which is a bit stronger in the aftertaste. Obscura’s true identity lies somewhere between Belgian Dubbel and English Porter.
