Appearance: Intense carmine red. Nose: Floral & fruity, Iris and violet, peach & wild strawberry. Taste Profile: Ripe red berry fruit, strawberry flavours with a hint of white pepper. Finish: Served slightly chilled, vibrant & fruit driven. The ‘Cru’ of Beaujolais are rarely seen outside the region as the floral feminine qualities are much prized by the locals. Marked by aromas of Iris, Violet and Peony the flavours evolve into peach, raspberry and white pepper reflecting the granite soils the vines thrive on.
