Appearance: Amber. Nose: Honeyed with dried fruit, floral. Taste Profile: Hazelnut, almonds, raisins, black cherry. Finish: Smooth with spice. Historically, blended malts would be aged in previously used bourbon barrels that would be refilled many times. This breaks from convention and uses first fill sherry butts to add additional character. Honeyed with dried fruit and vinous notes this is a balanced dram that reveals floral notes as it opens.
